Can I put fake experience in my resume?

Q: Can I put fake experience in my resume? A: What you put in your resume is your business, therefore I'm going to tell you about my own policy and belief system only. As a matter of policy, I do not put anyone else's experience or or anyone else's company names in my resume. Why? Because I believe it's NOT wise to put any fake experience in one's resume. Putting fake experience would not be professional, would not be ethical, could hurt my career, and I would be found out. They would find out because in this business we get interviewed by highly skilled software managers, engineers, testers, specialists, and bona fide experts who can tell, if we lack the expertise or experience in any of their area of expertise. And because we work in the company of highly skilled software engineers and testers who are able to tell right away, if we lack the needed expertise or experience.
